L2Web is a free Lineage II Interlude style MMORPG that runs in your browser. These terms are the agreement between you and L2Web ("we", "us") when you use the game and this site.
By playing, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. Who can play
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, play only with a parent or guardian who agrees to these terms on your behalf.
2. Your account
You need an account to play online. Keep your password to yourself, do not share your account, and do not use anyone else's. Tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else got in.
You are responsible for what happens under your account. We may rename, reclaim, or close accounts and characters that break these rules, or whose names are offensive, impersonate someone, or infringe someone's rights.
3. How to behave
Do not:
- Cheat, use bots, automate play, or exploit bugs for an advantage.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other players, or post hateful, obscene, or illegal content in chat or in a name.
- Pretend to be us, our staff, or another player.
- Attack or overload the servers, or probe them for weaknesses without our permission.
- Sell or trade accounts, characters, items, or in-game currency for real money.
We may investigate, mute, suspend, or ban, and we may remove content.
4. What you write
Character names and chat messages are yours. You give us permission to store, show, and moderate them so the game can work. Do not post anything you do not have the right to post. We may moderate or remove content, but we are not obliged to read everything.
5. Items and in-game currency
Gear, items, and coins exist only inside the game. They have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for real money, and you do not own them. We may change, reset, or wipe them, including characters and whole worlds, while the game is in development. The game is free and we do not sell items or currency.
6. The game changes
L2Web is under active development. Features, balance, worlds, and characters may change, pause, or disappear at any time, and we cannot promise the servers will always be up or free of bugs. Sometimes a reset is needed for technical or balance reasons.
7. Other services
The game links to Discord and can use it to sign in. Those services are not ours and have their own rules. We are not responsible for them.
8. Not affiliated with anyone
L2Web is an independent, non-commercial fan project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to NCSOFT or any other company, game, or brand. Names and trademarks that appear belong to their owners and are used descriptively only.
9. No warranty
The game is provided as is, for free, without warranties of any kind. We do our best, but we cannot guarantee it will be uninterrupted, secure, error free, or that data will never be lost. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost progress, items, or data.
Nothing here removes rights you have under laws that cannot be waived, including consumer protection law where you live.
10. Ending it
You can stop playing and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or if we have to for legal or technical reasons.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. When something important changes we update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to play after that means you accept the new version.
